From a mentor aspect, explaining how to vet or where to even start, most fundamental. Mentors may not have the answer for every field or situation but thankfully we have the network here. That's why we're important. If we can't help them it's up to us to refer them to reliable sources. Let's add more tips to finding the right business consultation.

Here's ways to pick the right mentor: 1. Recognize someone working in your desired career field. (example: Opening a restaurant, reach out to Chef's and Restaurant Owners ) 2. Follow individuals active in career field, ask questions. 3. Spend at least 2-3 hours weekly minimum researching the research. (The field, the top in the field, the newest members, the clubs, network a mentor may be in your new network) 4. Start a blog or forum discussing topics related - tag individuals to the posts for possible responses. 5. Remember you can learn from anyone, it's what you choose to retain, and the time spent. 6. Reach out to local business owners for inspiration in your field. 7. Remember that the time spent is training, ask the right questions, attempt to be hands on, don't waste time, apply the knowledge.
