Have a look at what other people do Melissa and this may give you some ideas. Do you attend business mentor meetings? If so, chat to the business people there and see what they have found useful. Doing this has to be factored into your overall business day and it may be best to identify when the best time of the day / week is to do it so that you can schedule it into your daily plan.

Where and how you post is the difference. Set a routine. With so many groups, pages, and so forth online, I would create a schedule. 1st make sure all your profiles are linked together. This way when you post to instagram it could post to facebook, twitter, and wordpress, etc at the same time. Example: Monday and thursday facebook groups and pages Tuesday and saturday linked media accounts Wednesdays places like letgo, craigslist, etc Fridays and saturdays would be your reply to any comments, uppdate specials, etc Sunday rest. or Monday Madness sales Tuesday rest Wednesday Weekly Discount or 5% off next 48hrs thursday rest Friday's Deal for the weekend Saturday and sunday (thanking buyers for orders placed, only 10 left in stock, last minute deals) No one wants cluttered social media's of ads, so if you are doing ad's make them interesting, create a theme, half off sunday or buy 1 get one %off thursdays.
Don't just post them, research them, which ads or days get better responses, what type of deals are more preferred, hey make a survey day with results to increase interaction with viewers. Post a review on the products like a video through youtube or blog. Become a personality if you plan to post regularly, allowing your viewers a chance to want to support your business and offer customer loyalty rewards like an interview of how they use your product. Good luck. Just try to limit the repetitive in personal ads that scream I just want your money, you lose more followers that way.

I would consider different aspects before telling you how many times it should be. What plataform are you using to advertise? Facebook, Twitter and Instagram? How many followers do you have? How many total engagements do you generate? Do you use hashtags on your posts? All of these aspects are important to analize before knowing how often to advertise.
The reason why is because they are all connected. If you do not use hashtags, let's say, you generate 50 likes per post and 1 sell out of it; well you are limiting the range of people who can see and total engage with your product/brand. As you can imagine, the algorithms that all these websites have work chasing trends and hashtags, 3 out of 10 people look up on Facebook, Twitter and Instagran using hashtags, so if you are not using them yet, please start doing so and you will see how it works for you. Now, if you are using them, let me answer your question right away, you need to post at least 7 times a day to start generating impressions and trends based on your brand/product.
If you may need anything else, please let me know!
