How do I really get a mentor to respond if they are either available or not? I really need a mentor and I feel as though I am not getting anywhere. While I do understand that mentors have lives as well, but an acknowledgeme

I now have a mentor and VERY happy with her, she is by far the best. 

Well I want to recap with my previous answer. I spoke with a menotr who I connected with and she appeared to be able to help me take my business in the directions that I want it to go. Problem is that every time we schedule a date and time to connect, she cancels on the very same day which seems to have become a pattern and so it has raised concerns as I question her reliability.

I am seeking a mentor that stands behind the profile the project and can really work with me. Continued broken promises is really ugly and I am not sure what to do now because I need to work on my company reaching its desired goals.

I can understand your concern Desheen. It is frustrating when that occurs. It is a matter of continuing to look for a mentor who can assist you. Perhaps you ask them that question in the initial conversation.

You can also do a lot for yourself. If you think about what you really want to achieve, write it down. Then align that with your goals and action plan.
