How I can help

My professional background

I remember starting out on this business journey and quickly found myself abandoned by those whom I thought would be in my corner fighting with me through this journey. Having had to swim in an ocean with no help or guidance and trying to learn every role in my business, I'm still trying to learn them all LOL, I understand that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. I would pray for help night after night through heavy tears. If I can make someone else's journey a little bit easier it is my gift to you.

A little about my professional background. It includes 20 years of combined project management, graphic and website design experience. Using a hybrid methodology approach, my ability to effectively conduct industry market research to define the scope, schedule, and budget baselines while collaborating with clients to develop their business brand identity utilizing story development, logo and graphic design, website development, marketing, video editing, and client training has been the key to my success.

Create clear & concise scope of work contracts and project plan to include expectations, budgets and schedules. Conducted engaging close out meetings to discuss and document the wins and failures that would, in turn, became a tool to improve on the next project. Create standard operating procedures to ensure everyone is on the same page and the core operations function as it should.

How to work with me

What I can offer

Defining the customer journey within your business. Looking at your business from a customer's perspective.

Story development - understanding of the importance how your story flow throughout your website and branding to reach your target audience

Project Management - manage your business operations, scope of work, budgets, time management, risks and more.

Business operations to get organized and structured - Creating/updating a business plan, Create SOW (scope of work) contracts to protect you and the client, standard operating procedures (SOP's) so you know what your processes are and so staff knows what they should be doing from day one. This builds confidence in both you and the staff starting.

Website Development - Websites is one of the most powerful tools in the arsenal but understanding of how to use the power is key. From design, to colors, to story, content, animations, managing your entire business operations on your site and more, it is important to understand how to put these items together.

Graphics and marketing - understanding market research, brainstorming campaign ideas, creating and implementing campaigns

My expectations for a successful mentoring relationship

The mentee should be honest and ready to peel back those layers to learn and feel free to ask questions. Open minded and ready for the those in-depth business conversations that make them uneasy in order for them to grow. Also, ready to think out of the box and push the envelop of creativity; as well as know how to laugh at themselves so they can enjoy the journey.

Meetings: Please RESPECT MY TIME and show up for meetings as scheduled, as I could have put my own clients and potential clients in those slots. If life happens and you can't make it, let me know as soon as possible so I can open up that spot. Whether free or paid mentoring, time is the most valuable asset a person has.

How entrepreneurs can prepare before we start

Have a list of objectives / pain points they feel they need to work on. Write down where they are and where they want to be by the end of 2024.
