Behr's Homecare LLC Started 2004

Behr s Homecare LLC is a non-medical home care business serving seniors, post-operative patients, new mothers, people with disabilities and adults recovering from an injury. Behr s Homecare is seeking licensure with the NYS Department of Health to provide medical services in the home.

Behr’s Homecare LLC intends to transition to a licensed home care service agency (LHCSA), in order, to continue providing its current aging clients with homemaker, companion, personal care and nursing services.

The current clientele consists primarily of seniors residing in their homes. The seniors initially need companion or homemaker services. Eventually, the needs of these clients increase to personal care/nursing services. Behr s Homecare LLC then has to discharge them to a LHCSA and the transition is difficult for its clients; the clients would prefer to maintain services with Behr’s Homecare LLC.

Behr s has applied for a LHCSA with the NYS Department of Health. The policies and procedures are being developed and a few sections remain to be completed. Behr’s Homecare LLC is seeking assistance in writing some policies and procedures that will be reviewed by the Department of Health.
