What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

In starting our business I really need help in getting the word out about what we do. We are in a small area and word of mouth works to a degree but I would like to broaden our reach. I also would like a concrete system of billing. Perhaps a class on how to collect overdue accounts and what I would need to do if there is a refusal to pay after the contract has been fulfilled. I would like to know exactly how to proceed with an online business and if the permits required are the same as they are for an office if I need any at all. I also have questions of craft shows, what do I need to have in place for those?

About my venture

SHR&LKS Small home repair&lock and key service

I love to design and create and have worked with my husband on several construction projects. Together we would like to start a business as contractors working on residential properties. Our experience includes general maintenance, construction, demolition, exterior and interior painting, repair of appliances, finishing, organizational storage and interior design, small amounts of plumbing and electrical work. My husband has completed a welding and locksmith course and has his certificate for both. I have some experience with computers and am fair at drawing up contracts and am willing to learn more about their use to advance our venture. Our motivation is to become self-sufficient in our finances, to meet our bills and save for our future. Our goal is to be our own boss and help other struggling people with their endeavors by showing them it is possible to accomplish dreams. Sometimes all someone needs in the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills.
