I am working on growing my team and my company. At this time, I am having a hard time deciding the tasks I will assign to my assistant, and what are my priorities on hiring services on that area.
I am also searching for my customer segment. I want to reach more people to interview within the customer segment I am currently researching and am having some difficulties making those connections.
Actions I’ve taken so far
I have taken two courses with the local Startup Incubator and have applied their methods to discover my customer segment. I have also used LinkedIn and my professional connections to reach those customers and have had some success, but I think I need a better strategy.
My future goals
I want Lenguas Club to grow and become a corporation. I would like to expand my program to include more languages and develop a business model that allows for affordable rates for underdeveloped nations.
My motivations to work with a mentor
I want to have someone experienced to bounce ideas with. I would love to hear and learn from their experience and develop new perspectives and strategies to help my business grow.
About my venture
Lenguas Club is an online platform that helps people speak a new language by connecting them with a community of native speakers and learners and utilizing a pedagogically sound program to advance language skills naturally. Currently, I am running the program in English and Spanish, but I expect to add Mandarin in the near future.
The program places an emphasis on oral and listening skills as they are the ones people seek most when studying a language. This company differs from other language learning programs because:
