Our current challenges consist of. Marketing: we need help getting our message out. we need more people to know about us. We need help with creating and executing new revenue streams. Fundraising: We are currently just making our monthly bills (rent, payroll, insurance etc..) contingent on our current clients paying on time. About my venture
Keep Empowering Youth Achievements (K.E.Y.A)
Started 2015
We provide performing arts programs such as dance, art, singing, and writing to youth and adults in the Jamaica Queens area. We try to offer free workshops in the above-mentioned areas whenever possible. We provide these services because in our experience when our youth are engaged in these art forms it helps them build self-confidence, and once that is established the sky is the limit for them. We started out in 2007 with eight members and have built a network of over fifty current members and over 200 members since our inception.
