What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

Though my Etsy shop has been open since 2009, I decided to make my business official when I moved back to New York in 2015. I obtained a sales tax certificate and my business is currently operating as a sole proprietorship. I could use some help with the logistics of starting a business such as learning how to file income taxes, what to track / record in my books, tools for better efficiency on the paperwork side of things, etc.

A mentor with marketing experience could also be very helpful to me. Jewelry in particular is such a saturated market that I find it extremely difficult to stand out from the crowd. I'm active on social media and I do my best to optimize my placement in the Etsy search results, but I have not been able to increase the visibility of my shop or my work successfully under my current strategy. My end goal is to grow my business enough that it can become my main source of income, but I struggle with low sales and could use some help getting my name out there.
