What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

My current challenges are the lack of experience outsourcing to manufacturers verses sewing each garment myself, understanding and knowing how to create financial projections, accounting terminology, Creating and paying attention to the budget monthly to make sure my expenses do not exceed my sales, Grasping story telling and making my target audience feel like I am speaking to them directly, balancing how to be personable and share some personal info while still being professional to connect with audience, How to create a successful detailed ad to promote, creating visuals that turn an audience into loyal buyers and make them feel like they are missing out on an amazing product. Also creating systems to work smarter is something I want to excel very well in with my new relaunch as I have struggled in the past. Lastly I have struggled with communication skills specifically I get nervous when meeting new people and having to introduce myself but I have been practicing and I am getting better.

Actions I’ve taken so far

I have created the steps I need to take to relaunch and I came up with 59 steps to complete before I can relaunch and I am currently at number 11. I now have an LLC as I was working under a DBA from 2019-2021. I have obtained my EIN and a new domain. I have created my final two shoulder shape patterns for my blazers and I am currently working on creating my top two blazers to create patters for my relaunch. I am also apart of a membership club to help with story telling, connecting to my audience, becoming consistent with social media strategies. I have also researched accounting terms and applied some things I have learned in the past when I had sales under my DBA which was Klatrese Designs.

My future goals

My future goals are to become one of the largest successful designer online brands and also create healthy systems and have employees to run my business effectively while I have more free time to build my real estate portfolio to become financially free and also start my third business which will help children and adults who are physically disabled to feel more confident when shopping for clothing and while wearing clothing!

My motivations to work with a mentor

I would love to work with a mentor to gain knowledge to apply to my self and business and to hear the struggles, mistakes and the success to learn from. I am motivated to work with a mentor because I am mentally prepared and I am the most confident version of myself to date. My mindset is healthy, happy and optimistic. I believe in myself and I’m the direction I am taking with my career and having a mentor can only make my mindset stronger. The mindset is more powerful than any plan, program or money!

About my venture

K Latrese Started 2022

Hello

I am Krystal Latrese a fashion designer and owner of K Latrese formerly known as Klatrese Designs. I sketch sew and design each hand made item and I offer fashion beret hats to women seeking to add fashion and style to their wardrobe and every day look. I am currently in the process of relaunching and rebranding and my plan is to relaunch in November of 2022 with high fashion puff sleeves blazers with matching beret hats. I have given away free breast cancer awareness masks in 2019 as this has affected my family and I also plan to donate a percentage of proceeds to the High Five Program as they have helped my children who have special needs. The goal is to push my self to my highest creativity with fashion and design and love doing this while finding a market who love what I have to offer and also makes them feel beautiful and confident while wearing the garments.

Thank you

Krystal
