What I need help with
My background as an entrepreneur
My current challenges
Currently all my work is homemade. After doing research I see Print on Demand or Production partners have become very popular in the creative business. I'm not sure how to go about using these services or sourcing companies. This could be a great asset to my business since I would be able to produce more in shorter time. I could focus more on the design aspect, which is my specialty, and have third party make the goods.
Actions I’ve taken so far
I have an instagram page where I show my work, I have a small following but would like to expand. I also opened an Etsy page but there are no listings yet. I'm also a member in a few local Mom groups on Facebook, they are always requesting personalized goods. So it has been a great resource for finding clients.
My future goals
My goal is to have my Etsy store running with a constant flow of orders. Eventually growing a large client base that I could expand to my own website.
My motivations to work with a mentor
My motivation to work with a mentor is the opportunity to gain a better insight on the having a creative business. Sometimes the industry can feel oversaturated and a mentor could help guide me in the right direction for success.
About my venture
Customly Krystal Started 2021
My business started as a creative craft making personalized goods and party decor. I received many request from friends and family so I decided to expand my hobby into a business. I currently only work on demand orders, however, my goal is to expand into online sales offering a collection customers can purchase directly on my Etsy page.
