What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

I’m a solo social entrepreneur in need of support to successfully grow my business with limited start up funding. I find it challenging to find the time to work on creating a social media, marketing, and a sales plan that will allow me time to grow the business while simultaneously working on professional development, and my own healing journey.

Actions I’ve taken so far

I’ve acquired a part-time Intern whom I’m learning to delegate tasks to. I‘m receiving an enormous amount of support and guidance from Communitas Ventures as a member of cohort 6. I’ve recently obtained two web development interns to help build our online community for members and providers. I’m also seeking assistance with the crowdfunding process.

My future goals

To build a sustainable and thriving online community that runs itself. I want Collective Healing to branch off into merchandise sales, e-courses, retreats, speaking engagements, podcasts, licensing, and more.

My motivations to work with a mentor

Having a mentor will help tremendously in moving my business into a profitable entity. I firmly believe that we can go further in community than alone. I appreciate your consideration.

About my venture

Collective Healing Started 2020

Collective Healing is a Health and Wellness Community for women of color journeying towards healing. We promote healing through kinship by curating affordable and accessible healing spaces centered on traditional healing practices. We address the socioeconomic and interpersonal impact that women of color face while navigating life with a chronic illness or disability by creating a space our membership to connect, share, and feel empowered.
