My biggest challenge is getting started, because there appear to be so many steps and I'm unsure of the order that things should be done in. I know I have to create a business plan, which I am working on now, but after that is done I will need guidance for what my next step should be.
Actions I’ve taken so far
I have started to ask avid gym goers, and bodybuilders, what most gyms lack that and what they wish they had. I want to solve a problem, instead of creating just another gym.
My future goals
Thinking far ahead into the future, I would like my boutique gym to have multiple locations and for the delivery meal prep service to deliver food to people across the U.S., even if the buyers aren't members at any of the locations.
An immediate goal of mine, is I want to complete a sound business plan that makes it very clear for myself, and anyone else reading the document, what my trajectory is.
My motivations to work with a mentor
My motivation for wanting to work with a mentor is so I can save time, money, and possibly making any unnecessary mistakes. I know the process of building a business takes time, can be quite costly, and includes making mistakes, but having a mentor could help mitigate the exaggeration of any of those three factors.
About my venture
The gym I'm looking to create will do three things; provide an inviting but serious workout environment, offer an on-premise restaurant that offers fresh gourmet meals customizable to suit macro diets, and a meal prep delivery service offering frozen versions of the restaurant menu listings.
I want to open this boutique bodybuilding gym in the metro area of Atlanta. The gym will be for individuals serious about fitness. Whether they are bodybuilders or not. I want to provide a gym that has it all. I've gone to many gyms, across the globe, and it is very rare I don't wish I could combine two or a few gyms, to create the ideal place to workout. Giving my patrons a well-rounded experience is something I would like to do. My gym would be a one stop-shop. A place to get a killer workout in and grab a tasty bite to eat after.
